DAY 1: MARRAKECH TO AIT BENHADDOU KASABAH ,THEN OUARZAZATE AND DADES GORGES

The private driver for your Marrakech to desert tour will pick up you and we travel over the Tizi n'Tichka Pass(2260m) while enjoying superb views of the mountains and of the Berber Villages on the way. Stop for lunch and tour in the World heritage site of Ait Benhaddou.(This famous kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films) Pass through Ouarzazate and continue towards the Valley of Roses and the Dades valley, the valley of a thousand Kasbahs and the Dades Gorges and we stay night at a hotel.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES TO MERZOUGA

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to the Todra Gorges: a massive fault, rising to 300 m in a narrow valley thick studded with palmeries and Berber Villages.. You will have lunch in the Gorges, travel further into the desert to the tiny village of Merzouga, where you will camel trek into the beautiful Erg Chebbi Dunes. You will spend the evening in a bivouac (camp), enjoy a Moroccan dinner, and sleep in traditional Nomad camel hair tent.

DAY 3- MERZOUGA VISIT AND DESERT CAMEL EXCURSION

After breakfast we can start exploring the area, visiting the village of the Gnawi people, originally slaves from Sudan to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga, with its flamingos. You may also like to visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities. By the afternoon you’ll be ready for your camel ride.  Guided by an experienced camel driver, you’ll explore within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi for 2-3 hrs before spending your first night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Dinner will be served in the tent where you will spend the night.

DAY 4 - MERZOUGA TO OUARZAZATE

After breakfast, we go to Kasbah Taourirt, which belonged to the Glaoui family, Marrakesh's Pashas. Driving north, you leave the main road and follow a minor road to Ait Benhaddou, which was also owned by the Glaoui family, the Lords of the Atlas. This is Morocco's most famous Kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is also well-known for serving as the setting for many Hollywood blockbusters. The drive then continues through the Ounila valley, passing through lovely and prosperous communities, spectacular mountains, and breathtaking vistas to Telouet, where you will stop to explore the Kasbah and possibly have lunch. Alternatively, we'll have lunch in the mountains! We arrive at Marrakesh in the early evening..

DAY 5 - OUARZAZATE TO MARRAKECH

After breakfast there will be a visit to the Kasbah itself before returning to Ouarzazate, via the mountain (1660m). Once in Ouarzazate, we visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, originally the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech and a symbol of the feudal period of the lords of Atlas. Lunch in somewhere .Enjoy Lunch  and continue the journey to Marrakech via the Pass of Tizi n’Tichka over the High Atlas Mountains stopping along the way for Cafe or Tea and to enjoy the beautiful, picturesque scenery.
